ll Chronicles 7:11-14

How often have we heard, read, taught and preached the words of ll Chronicles 7:14.. If my people which are called by my name, shall humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked way, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. After reading this verse in six different bible versions, the response of God is the same and man's problem/dilemma is the same, that of wicked ways of sin. Israel, God's people had wicked ways...sinful, evil bad, worthless, wrong, cruel, without value, malignant manner of behavior will or desire. Israel's manner of life was sometimes that of wickedness. Wickedness is evil, malice, the intention or desire to do evil and wrongdoing, illegal or dishonest behavior... wicked ways. Wickedness or wicked ways is sin. Sin is rebellion against God. God's people were openly resistant toward him. Sin is transgression, the people who were called by God's name went against God's law, rules and code of conduct.
