Rose of Sharon Baptist Church Monroe LA, the church rooted in the Word and blossoming in the fruit of the Spirit recently celebrated their 86th church anniversary where A.B. Davis-Johnson Dr. is Pastor. There was eighty-six years of preaching, teaching and reaching for God has been mighty good to Rose of Sharon Baptist Church. Mistress of ceremony Sister Vernessa Tolliver gave the introduction of celebration; the welcome was given by Sister Doris Qualls while Sister Mary Hill prayed the morning prayer. Proclamation were done by Mayor Jamie Mayo and Senator Katrina Jackson. Pastor A. B. Davis-Johnson, Sr. delivered the Word. It is with prayer that Rose of Sharon remain convinced, convicted converted dependable, humble, cooperative, giving and steadfast.
