April 16, 2020

Mayor Jamie Mayo says, “A businessman, who wishes to remain anonymous, reached out to me wanting to help by feeding Monroe tornado victims and the first responders who are on the frontlines. Their feeding crew will set up and distribute hot meals at lunchtime for the next three days. Up to 150 FREE “grab and go” meals will be provided at the times and locations listed below for victims in the designated areas. We are truly thankful to them and so many others in our community who continue to utilize their personal time and money to provide food, water, and supplies to those who are in need at this time.”1:00 pm Thursday, April 16-Carver Elementary School-Near Monroe Police Department Mobile Command Center-1:00 pm Friday, April 17 Monroe Public Safety Center (for First Responders)1810 Martin Luther King Drive
