Pastor Ronnie Hampton 64, of New Vision Community Church in Shreveport LA died Wednesday March 26, 2020. On Tuesday, March 24 Pastor Hampton tested positive for the coronavirus and died Wednesday evening. Pastor Hampton was from Monroe LA. Takin' it to the Streets' was an annual movement started by Hampton. Throughout the years Pastor Hampton partnered with the Northwest Louisiana food bank providing meals to more than 83 families every third Saturday at his church. Graveside services for Rev. Dr. Ronnie A. Hampton were Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at Richwood Memorial Gardens, Monroe LA.
