Mrs. Christena Johnson Huff, the ninth of nine children born to the late Eugene Robert Johnson and Arabella Nicholas Barrington on July 26, 1927, transitioned on Monday, March 30, 2020. Mrs. Huff received her education at Monroe Colored High School and Grambling State University where she received her degree in Education. She was employed in the Monroe City School System as a second and third grade teacher at Lincoln Elementary and Minnie Ruffin Elementary.
