Mayor Jamie Mayo

"Spotlight on James E. (Jamie) Mayo" Candidate for Mayor Of Monroe- All citizens of Monroe LA, should be concerned about inhumane treatment which Mayor Mayo has received from several area ministers, family members of a local newspaper, mayoral candidates, citizens and other political leaders in the City of Monroe. Some ministers act as if they are Gods themselves. They create chaos and confusion.

African Americans are aware of the damage effects racial and ethnic hatred can have on Blacks. God's word tells us to love one another and treat each other as Sisters in Christ and Brothers in Christ. God sees us as gifts from Him. He is not pleased!

Today, we do not hear much about His Lordship. We profess, proclaim, and exclaim. "Jesus is Lord." Is He really your Lord? When we acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord, do we say this with an understanding of total obedience, a willingness to serve and an attitude to live by His authority? If He is our Lord, He is the Lord of everything about us, our thoughts, our relationships, possessions, emotions, speech, EVERYTHING.

Jesus Christ is in control over all aspects of our lives or we still bowing to another master? Please be reminded that GOD IS STILL IN CONTROL. He has authenticated His Son, Jesus, as LORD OF EVERYTHING. It is important that we know and understand what we say, Jesus Christ is Lord. Unless we truly recognize that Jesus is Lord and submit to His Lordship, we are not in the full meaning of what it is to be a Spirit-filled Christian. When Jesus is our Lord, He is our whole life; we belong to Him, He owns us completely; He has the right to tell us what to do, when to do it and how to do it.

Nothing happens in this world by chance. God is a God of order. Everything is arranged upon definite principles and not at random. The Lord protects us from the attacks of Satan and his followers. Satan is also called the adversary, the accuser of the brethren, demons, great dragon, serpent, devil, or evil spirits. They seem to come in every direction. We might not believe there is a Satan and his hosts, but there are events, social media, newspaper and activities that let us know that Satan and his followers are not dead.

Mayor Mayo, there is an active force of evilness in our world and the City of Monroe today. The Apostle Paul says in Ephesian 6:11-13, that we Christians fight not against men. But we fight evil spirits that filled the entire world. In this Mayoral Candidate Race, you must dress as a soldier in combat and put on the whole armor of God. Satan or the devil intimidates and tries to make you lose faith in Christ. He's phony and attempts to create fear by appearing as a roaring lion, seeking to kill, steal and destroy. He makes us think that he has more power that he has!

Yes, Satan has quite an army. There are a lot of evil activities everywhere. But we are thankful that we have protective armor to wear in our battle with the adversary. Jesus Christ is our Commander and Chief. He can command Satan and evil spirits to come out of us and leave us. They must obey and leave us alone!
