No one knows the day or time when the end comes. Live life everyday as if its your last, because one never knows only God! Reese "Chick" Collins was born May 7, 1947 to Katie Collins. "Chick" was well known in the Newtown Community and a member of Avenue Baptist Church Monroe LA. He was a Carroll High School Graduate. "Chick" was well-known, a great guy who saw the best in people. He was respectable, smart, had lots of friends, love to work and always could come up with a joke which made you bust you side in laughter. "Chick" worked from Troy & Nichols, State Fark and LA Industries. His brothers William and Fred Collins preceded him in death. Left to cherish fond memories are two daughters Danielle and Kimberly Collins and one sister Lucinda Allen. God called "Chick" home Friday February 21, 2020. Family and friends will bid farewell Saturday March 7, 2020, 11am Avenue Baptist Church Monroe LA. Visitation will be announced from Smith Funeral Home Monroe LA.
