Today when we jump that broom, the angels will sing a tune, that will reach the ears of God

Proclaiming that this will be the day, that we stand before Him to say, that we are joined as one in our hearts

When we march down the aisle to the alter of God

We will be entering into a covenant, till death do us part

We are making a promise to love each other in sickness and in health

For richer or poorer, thru poverty or wealth

With this band of gold, to have and to hold

Is our word before God, when we are feeble and old

If we stumble and fall short of His Glory

We will get down on our knees and tell Him the story

If there is a problem in our home

We will plead our case before His merciful throne

We will let Him be the judge of the good and the bad

We will acknowledge Him in all our ways and let Him direct our path

So, if times get rough, and our days are dark

Remember, this is not just about us, we are making

"A VOW TO GOD"
