What a blessing! One of our own, who made many sacrifices and could have, will do extremely well at Wossman because we know for a fact he is truly for the kids. After finding what many already knew former Carver Elementary Grad, Wossman and Murray State standout Coach Maurice Pollard will get his chance to do God knows best at Wossman. He has taken the position as head football coach at Wossman High School in Monroe LA. "You can't tell me what God can't do," said Pollard. Very appreciative Coach P. as he is affection ally known wishes to thank all the people along the way who helped him during his career as a student, teacher and coach. Also, very proud of her son is his mother Paula Elliott who is also thanking God for such an awesome chance. As one parent said, Coach Maurice Pollard can "coach my kids anytime, because he is such a good and positive person."
