On Saturday, January 26, 2020, "The Po' Folk's Poet", Mr. Marion Obafemi celebrated his 10th year anniversary as a playwright, producer and director at Benoit Community Center in Monroe LA. The event was a reunion for all his former cast members and their families from Lake Providence, Tallulah, Bastrop and Monroe LA. Mr. Obafemi expressed his gratitude to those who have contributed to the success of his stage play productions over the past 10 years. It was a time to reminisce about old times, meet and greet cast members from other places that have played the same roles at different venue...
