The life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was observed Sunday January 19, 2020 at Trenton Baptist Church in West Monroe LA. Special guests were Grambling State University Choir, West Monroe & Monroe Mayors Stacy Albritton Mitchell and Jamie Mayo. Living Legends honored included Dr. L.R. Martin, Mrs. Frances Reddix and Rev. Charles D. Jones, Post Humous Judge Daryl Blue, Rev. John L. Russell, Sr. and Mr. Patrick Robinson. Presenters to persons who've contributed for our advancement were Sister Lucille Lee and Sister Laterica Thompson. There were tributes and inspirational singing honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Thanks to committee members who made the program possible chair and co-chairpersons Larry and Joylene Thompson.
