I once rejected God in my life

Said, "Jesus never died for me"

Did'nt believe in all His sacrifice

That He hung, bled and died on a tree.

But, the winds of my life were blowing

And, knocked me right on down to my knees

The tears from my eyes were flowing

And, there was nobody to comfort me.

So, I called on the name of Jesus

There is no other help I know

That is willing and able to reach us

When our life is headed down below.

The power of the blood

That ran down Mary's baby's face

Showed me there was a love

That could wash all of my sins away.

The grace and loving mercy

That was extended...
