The DownSouth Sports Magazine Game of the Week Most Valuable Player was Carroll running-back, Montrell Jones. Carroll defeated Richwood 25-14 on Friday, Oct.11 at Thomas-Blade Stadium at Carroll High School in Monroe LA. Jones scored 1 touchdown and had 2 called back because of penalties. The DownSouth Sports Magazine MVP award is sponsored by The Monroe Dispatch and Aubrey's Graphic Designs. This week's MVP Trophy was presented by Ronesha Bradley.
