True GSU Fan Jackie Slack

Gramblinite Jackie S. Slack, an alumna of Grambling State University is known for her love and life-long support of Grambling State University. Jackie has supported the University through personal contributions to the athletic programs, and GSU. She is also known for her organization of other events to support the" Bring It Home Campaign." Jackie has displayed other acts of kindness through contributions to individual students by assisting with enrollment fees, books and supplies. On Saturday, October 12, 2019, while attending GSU football first home game of the season, several thousand GSU fans witnessed GSU President and others acknowledging her contributions with a great Grambling "Thank you." She was announced as "Donor of the Game" with the presentation of an autographed game ball, presented to her by GSU President Rick Gallot and Athletic Director Dr. David Ponton.
