Mrs. Barbara Reed wife and confidant of the late Herbert Reed, who preceded her in death, was called home to paradise early Sunday morning October 27, 2019.Mrs. Reed attended Southern and Northeast LA University. She became a well-known, successful and prominent businesswoman with her late husband. She continued the business that she and her husband started after his death for 26 years. She will be and is sincerely missed by family, friends, the business community and associates. Gone but never forgotten her legacy lives on in our hearts and minds for those who are blessed to know and have known her was truly a blessing. Also preceding Mrs. Reed in death were her mother Ethel Cann Toney, her dad Uri Gray, her grandparents Shelly and Alberta Cann. She is survived by her sons Mark and Eric Reed, her extended son Vincent Cann, 5 sisters Carrie Cann, Carol Byrd, Ida Toney, Ethel Thomas and Kay Gray and one brother Harold Toney San Francisco CA, and a host of grandchildren, great grands, nieces, nephews, and other family members. Funeral services are Saturday November 9, 2019, 11am at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church Monroe LA. Please remember this family in prayer.
